George’s experience in fundraising, strategy, and company building helps position Modus for long-term growth and investor engagement.
Yves Le Blanc
COO
Yves oversees operations, product development, and platform strategy at Modus. With nearly a decade of experience across business systems, startups, has been active in the digital asset space since 2017. Yves designed the core Modus platform architecture and has led its rollout across product, engineering, and user onboarding. His ability to bridge technical development and business execution ensures Modus remains focused, agile, and scalable.
Clive Lawson-Smith
CFO
Clive began his career at KPMG and JP Morgan Chase before moving into senior roles in property development and investment. He brings 15 years of real estate finance experience, including CFO and Investment Director roles for UK and offshore property funds. Most recently, he served as CFO of the Housing Funds at Gresham House, where he oversaw capital raising and financial governance. At Modus, Clive ensures strong financial controls, operational efficiency, and a long-term growth strategy.
Mark Williams
Property Director Mark brings over 12 years of experience in property finance, including managing a £250 million loan book at Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank. He is responsible for appraising all development deals listed on the Modus platform and liaising with developers and lenders across the UK. His deep underwriting experience and market insight ensure that Modus listings meet the standards of institutional-grade investment.
Alexander Hawkings-Byass
Lead Developer
Alexander leads the development of Modus’s investment platform and core technology systems. He was previously the founder and managing director of BMAS, a software consultancy delivering enterprise-grade digital solutions across multiple sectors. At Modus, he works closely with the COO and a broader engineering and design teams. His focus is on delivering a secure, scalable platform with a user experience that feels intuitive and reliable for investors worldwide.
Beno Sam Binu
Blockchain Lead
Beno leads on-chain engineering at Modus. With 6+ years in blockchain development, he builds and audits smart contracts across EVM chains for wallets, identity, staking, lending, and launchpads. He sets contract architecture, runs audits, and keeps our on-chain systems secure and production ready.

Keith brings extensive experience in strategy, business, and financial modelling. Alongside his analytical and adaptable mindset, Keith leverages an extensive network of international developers and equity partners, creating opportunities for collaboration and capital access.
